Illustrated Journal

In this assignment, a paper with three dark likes filled with charcoal were placed in three different heights: knee high, waist high, and shoulder high. Being told to complete this task seemed not as challenging at first to draw a piece of paper, however it was indeed easier said then done. Firstly, angles should not be at 90 degree angel or otherwise the whole positioning while come off completely. However, using grids and lines too see where each lines on the paper would intersect was helpful in getting the right perspective of it. Starting each new height I noticed that the length would get wider and wider while the height seemed to be about the same. Not much is going on, but there is pattern being shown following black and white lines. In addition, there is also repetition following the design of the paper.
